23 Apr Another Arabian prince buys house on Lake Como
The prince Turki Bin Bandar Bin Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud had a very special wish: to buy a villa on Lake Como. As the prince is none other than the nephew of the present Saudi Arabian king many jumped at the chance to help make his wish come true. After a whole year of various business contacts, research, house viewings, and above all, assurances of absolute confidentiality, the prince, who dresses in Arab attire, but is very open to modern, western ideas, has given this much thought. And, after long and deliberate reflection, has finally made his choice. An agreement was reached on Tuesday, in a meeting held in the prestigious venue of Villa d’Este by Paolo e Stefano Noseda, the real estate consultants, who succeeded in fulfilling the prince’s needs. ‘The prince’s two key requisites for the property were security and peace and quiet’ explained Paolo Noseda. ‘And we’ve found the place that fits the bill’ he added. The Nosedas are keeping quiet about the villa and its whereabouts. They are not giving away any clues. It’s too soon, and there are too many legal clauses regarding confidentiality in the contract, not to mention the promise of future investment in Como and Lombardy for the Nosedas to want to give the game away. We will just have to wait patiently to find out more about where the royal abode will be. Such a desire for privacy and confidentiality is not unlike that of the owner of Villa Mia in Torno, Nayef Ibn Abdul, who just happens to be another member of the Saudi royal family, and is renowned for wanting to protect his privacy.
