08 Jul The end of the holidays for the heir to the throne of the United Arab Emirates.
The Emir of Abu Dhabi: “Thanks and see you soon”
The heir to the UAE throne is leaving Como today, heading for Scotland.
Hamdan Bin Zaid Alnahayan, at only 27 years of age one of the richest men in the world, thoroughly enjoyed his vacation. This, despite the uncertain weather – one day of rain followed by one of sun. We could take a philosophical approach to such meteorological events and say that the concept of fine weather is relative: in Abu Dhabi, the prince’s modern hometown, sunny weather is guaranteed in an almost monotonous string of hot, sun-drenched days. Como’s changeable weather most have seemed like a welcome alternative.
The prince expressed his appreciation of the European welcome he received in Lake Como and thanked all concerned for the warmth of the welcome and hospitality. He especially thanked the security forces for all their hard work during his stay. It is reported that the prince may well come back to Como to buy a house. The Noseda brothers, Stefano and Paolo (on the right in the photo, by the prince, who rarely agrees to having his photo taken), who took care of the logistics of the prince’s stay, are keeping a strict confidentiality about such decisions. The brothers have naturally earned a royal invitation to Abu Dhabi in December.
